S.B. Simple to Be

So after much procrastination, I am finally writing this post. You know.. when every single day i want to do something about this blog but end up doing nothing about it. HAHA!! It is unexpectedly BUSY being a confinement Mum when confinement lady or family or friends keep asking you to lie down and rest.. "GO SLEEP!" haha! Then when you are providing breast milk for your Baby, you keep track of your time to the next pump and TIME PASSES SUPER QUICK! I did not see this coming!! . . . So I was admitted to the Clinic early in the morning and was quite busy because i have to change to the robe, then monitor Baby's heartbeat in the labour room with 2 other ladies. Then the the nurses will help/assist/MAKE you go toilet to clear your bowels. and then... WAIT. So this was me waiting for the C-section to happen I was actually not as nervous as i thought i would be. It was more of stoning and thinking what's going to happen next. ...

I am staying at home today.. usually I will follow my hubby around for his ID projects. Told him I want to rest a bit. Just when I wanted to sleep in then I cannot go back to sleep after my hubby left for work. So I merely just close my eyes and rolled around on the bed. So I woke up to send some mails and all to follow up on some work stuffs then did some chores and now waiting for the hubby to be back. We are heading for a photo shoot later. Keeping my fingers crossed that all will go well. It's just a simple photoshoot.. to remember my FIRST ever baby bump. Have been thinking whether to do it and chance came along when one of the photo studios that I was following had this V-day promo going on and I secured it for our pre-delivery photo shoot. HAHA~~! Cannot imagine how things will be like after I POP. Has been having this weird emotions... like a bit lost... of course I wouldn't know what to expect since its my first kid... have no idea how to explain.. I am ch...

So as of now when I am writing this, I am around 2 weeks to my EDD. Never did I ever expect myself to be benefiting from Jia Hui's current company - PIGEON. I think.. the same time last year.. I couldn't even see myself in a year's time. Yet now, I am going to be a MOM! Along the pregnancy, I am really LUCKY to have many helping and generous friends who passed me used baby stuffs or advices and some who helped me to get stuffs at a cheaper price.  Sometimes due to the availability in Malaysia or when I couldn't make it for Baby Fairs and etc. So, I was with RP (Hubby) in Singapore for 2 meetings that day and I dropped by Jia Hui's place in the late evening, which is conveniently located at Woodlands to collect Pigeon stuffs which she helped me to get. Then she asked us to meet her at her lift lobby area. Usually we would meet at the bus stop along the road right outside her block. omyyyyyyy tiannnnnn... has been sooooooo long since I did this!! (blogging with pictures uploaded) So, I recently got my MacBook repaired. Previously it was on a long term loan to my baby brother and before that it was on loan to my baby sister because she needed a Lappy for her business stuffs. So when I got it back 2 weeks ago, the Macbook was already a bit... hmm "over-worked", "over-processed", etc etc.  So I got my baby sis to sponsor the repair and brought the MacBook to the experts to get it formatted and so it is now.. working fine (TOUCHWOOD) It is already a 5 years old MacBook.  I started exploring the MacBook.. and thought I could perhaps blog?? Which I did spent 15 mins figuring how to upload photos from my phone.  (I got my hubby to WhatsApp and I downloaded on my Mac) Apparently the MacBook works almost like an iPhone now! I literally downloaded the WhatsApp Application!!  ~~~~ So, I am pregnant! like... 36 weeks ago ...

Today will be my LAST work day at McQuilling.  Started working here 2nd January 2015 and today marks the end of it.  Many memories.  Many learnings.  Many friends.  This also marks the end of my journey in Shipping.  Will be leaving the Shipping industry after 10 long years.  Shipping has helped me loads.  Supporting myself after i graduated from Poly.  Today.. i have my own apartment. We were house hunting the last weekend when we decided that we should get a new place instead of Tropez or my Akademik. Yes we have decided to get our own place. Initially.... we were supposed to get a place that we can move in ASAP then so that we can prepare for the arrival of the Baby. BUT.... We ended up getting poisoned by ECO WORLD. We went to a few places to view the houses and we decided to make the last stop at somewhere near Mum's place (Austin) so we can go home and fetch Ting for dinner. Amazing.... i almost could not remember my account and password to this page already. Took me an hour to figure out and find this blog of mine and be able to post. FINALLY. Well.. TEST TEST

Time flies... Almost 10 months since i joined TM. What an experience already! I joined with zero knowledge of the chemicals industry and now currently handling one of the major accounts and putting in my full focus on this account mainly due to the many requirements. Nevertheless, it has been a great journey. While speaking to one of the brokers yesterday, I was just telling him that it has been such a great journey for me. I was drowning initially and so stressed up during the first 4 months. So many times I thought I couldnt do it anymore and now it is already 10 months.  I wouldnt say I am the most hardworking but I really tried to do whatever I can. Of course there is still so much to improve on.. which I will continue to do so. To be a better colleague, a better person and a better Charterer. =) Endure the hardships and looking on the brighter side is what I live by.

Amazingly... and suprisingly as it is... A colleague actually reminded me that i have a blog and it is actually PUBLIC!! I think i almost forgot about it already. That i have a blog and people could have found it online or something and read about my past. Well... it is... So YUP... I might be childish and stupid and vain but it is what happened that made me who i am. So maybe... I will leave it. Thanks for wanting to know more about me then!! Have a good weekend ahead!! Time flies.. it has been so many years since i set up this blog already. From updating everyday to maybe... a random post like this. =)

Again, I think God has given me another challenge. Much earlier than I had expected though. He sent a "messenger" to me to show me the way to open my eyes and realise what is happening. To me, it was disappointing. Disheartening it was. Nevertheless, I shall look upon the bigger challenge that is going to happen next month. I am going to embark on this new career and industry journey and I am going to focus on it and try my best. I must... So I am glad.. it didnt happen when i needed all my attention on my new job. Thank you GOD... for showing me. =)

Has got some plans for the next few months and I am pretty excited about them. This coming November (which is... from tomorrow onwards), I am looking forward to a family trip with my FAMILY and meaning, my father also! Yes he is back home already!!! Only for a short month and plus I am staying in Singapore so i dont really get all the full month with him. We are going to Ipoh for 4D3N and SMOKEHOUSE we will be visiting! COOL! Has always wanted to be there. Even tried to plan that in for the last Ipoh trip with the ex-man (hehe.. a bit cheeky). We are going to stay for a night at Smokehouse this time. The price is super steep for a night's stay but we decided to go ahead with it though.. all for the most wonderful Daddy. Most importantly is for him to enjoy every bit of it. =) Next, I have registered myself for Run for Your Lives Asia which is coming up in January 2014. Registered as Runner because Kai Ling wanted to feel the excitement. HAHA! Finally i am going to do somethin...

I always tell myself to cherish the people and appreciate every thing that is happening in my life. I realised... I do cherish and appreciate but not enough... I shall really try to remind myself to cherish and appreciate even the simplest things. I will be a better me. =) Recently... i have learnt a lot in my life. I have really learnt to appreciate the presence of my friends and family and their patience with me especially. I have learnt to use the same patience to some other friends who might be in the same situation. I just heard from a colleague that his wife was diagnosed with cervical cancer. She took the vaccination injection but according to the doctor, that is only to prevent 70% of it. She went for pap smear recently and the result failed and so they went to further investigate and found out that she had cancer. So, very importantly, even though we had already taken the vaccination, we still have to do the pap smear test every 2 years.. for all ladies i meant. ...

Yesterday was supposed to be the day i wanted to do my 2nd tattoo but i changed my mind after that. So, i met the girls - Eileen and Kailing after work. Accompanied Eileen to do her tattoo and we went for drinks after. Went to a restaurant near Haji Lane area and we ordered some finger food. I ordered Pita and Hummus which I became the only one who was eating because they thought it was quite weird. They did order Potato Skin which they said was much better than mine. Weird.. they didnt even tried the stuffs i ordered lor. haha! Beer is really cheap at that area i think. We ordered a bucket (8 bottles) which was priced at $39.90 only!!!! Then later when we finished, we ordered another 2 more bottles. =P Drinks was cheap... BUT... we chatted till too late le ba!!! In the end i had to take a cab home and oh my... Jurong West is FAR FAR FAR! So in the end my drinks + cab fare added up to $50. I was just telling them i must stop taking cab and stop the chit chat when it runs to...

Yup! I have beautiful friends.  They are all beautiful.. no matter boy or girl.  =)  They make me laugh, they make me forget what I was worrying about and most importantly, they love me.  I love all of you too!! HAHA! Although they have never really said they "love" me but i know... because they showed me through their actions. They were always around supporting me whenever i needed strength. They are beautiful because they have unconditionally given me strength and support. They are beautiful because they were around and being around sometimes, is the greatest thing i can ask for. They are beautiful because they have made me beautiful too! =) I found long-time friends.. i found friends in friends... and my friends who had always been there. All of them... are really greatly beautiful people! I LOVE U ALL! =)

Just a pre-trip blab here... I am going to go on a road trip with the man soon... next month.. for my birthday. =) Very excited about it because it is going to be a far one and it is about 4D4N trip. Not sure if you guys have heard about the TUPPERWARE but this brand of plastic containers has been around for a really long time. Many of my relatives, friends and family are all using this brand of containers because of its durability and as well as the many different colourful and various sizes that caters to every needs. They have containers just for storing food in the freezer compartment and also containers for microwave use etc. Therefore, compared to those you buy off the shelves at IKEA or supermarkets, i highly recommend the Tupperware brand because ever since i know, my family had been using this brand of containers and they are the best. They have very good quality and most importantly, safe to use for a really really really long time. This time, i bought a new water bottle (900ml) to replace the one i at home and i will bring the one at home to the office. It started like a normal Wednesday and like everyone who is working office hours, i wake up in the morning and prepared myself for work.  So the day went by...  Had my lunch and then this colleague of mine called Jeslin, she had some errands and when she returned to office, she bought me the Dou Hua!!  Had been some time since i had this craving but i always had no chance to buy it and here it is...!! My lunch was pretty light yesterday and so I wasnt really too full so the dessert came just in time to fill up my stomach.  So this was the Selegie Dou Hua she got from nearby her house. Honestly, like i told her i gave this a 6.5 because there is still this powdery thingy feel. Also the sugar syrup is not fragrant enough to compliment the dou hua. hahah! sounds like a pro yea.. haha.. Tea!! They told me this is Tea from a Melaka restaurant they went for lunch. It's from my department's colleagues. They came back from lunch with a tea for me. ...

By the time i blog today, the haze condition has improved tremendously. It was raining yesterday and today. Which.... yesterday there was hail storm in the west side of Singapore which also created some panic. The haze has prevented me from my morning jogs and after a week of laziness, i wasnt able to wake up this morning even though the alarm went off for the time to do my morning jog! arghh!! hahahaha.. 15 x N99 Masks sponsored by Company which came on Monday Company has been really kind to us. Wednesday, was the lunar 21st birthday celebration of my baby brother.  Time flies, he is already 21 years old this year. With everything that he has done, he is still a small boy. Mum prepared food for the party that night and also prepared BBQ stuffs. Ting invited his friends over as well. Many relatives came by to offer their kind presents and wishes to the baby in our family.  I didnt want to distract myself from the relatives and so i didnt invite my friends (mainly kulai gang people). Indeed, i have time with my relatives and we chit chatted a alot with the relatives around that evening.  Baby bro.. Happy Birthday and may every day of your life be filled with wonderful people showering you with patience and love so that you grow up unharmed. We will always love you. =)  Although i want you to grow up faster and understand how difficult life is for every one of us and how easy yours has been with us all around you.
