went DIVING!!!

yes.
something that i proudly say i accomplished in year 2010.

i managed to get my diving license!!
.
.
i sort of decided to get it a month before i went diving.
started with Trevor coming over to my desk and asking me about getting a diving license.
.
.
then things started to fall into place.
one by one.
somehow.
things just fall into place and i went ahead to DO IT!
=)
.
.
it was that early morning.
when sis came waking me up asking me to get ready.
some misunderstandings there.
i was soooo unhappy.
.
.
for the whole morning till i reach Tioman,
i was in the bad-est mood i can be.
i was really quiet and didnt want to talk or do anything.
.
.
ya, it was pretty unfriendly to the other friends who went together with me but i was sooo ANGRY with stuffs.
.
.
arghhhhh!!!
.
.
alright,
back to the morning when Desmond was the assigned person to pick me and sis from our house.
i was late of course.
everybody was waiting for me.
cos desmond was actually going to bring us to the main meeting place after picking us.
.
.
so we met the rest and in 4 cars, we head to Mersing.
where the ferry terminal was.
.
.
i didnt really take alot of pictures this trip.
it was good enough that i had photos of the FUN people that i went with.
.
.
of course there were some moments when i felt left out cos this group, they had been diving for some time and all of them knew each other pretty well.
felt a bit awkward at times.
.
.
still, i had some people to accompany me like Chua's sister and her friend as well as Desmond who brought a friend that was... erm.... LOL.
.
.
nevertheless, i will be diving with these guys again soon!! in JUNE!!!

it was still in the morning.

so we went to have breakfast.

we were at SALANG BEACH.
SALANG is a great diving village.
except our accomodation really sucks.

i don wanna be tooo FULL for diving. it was going to be my confined water.

my fellow buddies who were also taking the diving course with me!!! =)

we were in half suit which was provided and included in our course fees.

these were 2 sisters.
they are very nice people too.

which means with no equipments and usually just those shallow water "swimming".

usually some schools would have carried this out in the swimming pool but our instructor wanted us to have it in the sea because it is definitely different from the swimming pool.

actually the visibility is okay underneath but due to us moving and the sand from the bottom was kicked up above by us therefore the visibility seems a bit low here.

unfortunately,
sis's group lost and they had to approach a stranger and do the ultraman stunt.

they went to a restaurant nearby and disturbed some stranger as they lost the game.

so people out there,
please do not apply SUNBLOCK lotions when you are going snorkeling because the chemicals from the sunblock lotions actually destroys the corals.

The whole trip was spent in the rainforest and returning to catch up on sleep and eat at the Tioman hotels where I stayed.
