9th March 2010... Tuesday....
.
.
sis made the UNICEF Pork Chop that evening for Dinner.
why is it called the UNICEF Dinner?
.
.
of course, there is a story behind it that made us call it the "UNICEF Pork Chop".
.
.
some time ago,
quite a long time ago,
cannot remember how long was it,
only know that,
it was when i was young and when we were still staying in Johor Jaya,
Mummy bought this UNICEF Cookbook from somewhere.
she did charity by buying the book.
there were a lot of different types of recipes inside the cookbook from all over the world.
some looked pretty strange to us.
.
.
we learnt to cook this pork chop from the book.
.
.
in the past,
i was the one who cooked the pork chop.
when we still had the book.
=)
.
.
until,
we lost the book when we moved house and i wasnt able to cook the pork chop anymore because...... for ME.... i must follow something to cook stuffs.
i cannot be like most Mums and most people that cook like my sis does,
i CANNOT AGAR AGAR!!!
HAHA.
i dunno how.
i must have something to follow.
i must have the "skeleton" and a guide to follow.
therefore,
ever since we lost the UNICEF cookbook, i couldnt cook that pork chop.
.
.
who would have known,
my sista managed to cook the pork chop that evening!!
it was not exactly the same taste but she managed to cook the pork chop and it was very similar!!
.
.
of course,
she did some improvisation that evening.
=)
try to locate that very small piece of pork chop!!
sis made a few changes here and there and she made lots of SIDES to go with our pork chop so that we do not feel hungry by eating only the pork chop.
there is the pork chop!!! the white coloured one.
=)
.
.
this is a very healthy pork chop.
not much oil is used.
it is something like a stew pork chop.
very YUMMMY!!
i loves the soury taste from the tomatoes and yet the "sweetness" of porkie pork pork from the PORK!
HAHA.
.
.
sista added some carbo by giving us bread and extra proteins from her scrambled egg.
the rest of the ingredients that you see are actually from the pork chop stew where it will be cooked together with.
we had wholemeal SCONES for desssert!!!
i love SCONES!!!
.
.
saw a friend making some mini-scones on her facebook!
Super cute okokokok!
wanna learn to make...!! since i loves scones that much.
=P
her Nyonya kuay from Lavender.

cant remember.
=)
As a way to celebrate our anniversary!!!
HAHA.
FUNNY??
a bit strange.
.
.
our way to stay together to count down to our anniversary date.
our 3rd year anniversary.
=)
.
.
we were tired to go anywhere.
just wanted to stick together.
dun wan to be too bored too.
so we played MONOPOLY DEAL.
yes.
only 2 of us playing.
we kind of fight it out and see who wins most as 2 person playing is really pretty easy to conclude the game.
.
.
.
.
our anniversary.... 3rd year and still running.....
