Day #1 : The C-Section

First day of the Chinese New year!!!
happy happy happy!!!
so happy lor!!!

although my mood wasnt that good in the morning.
but got better in the afternoon thanks to meimei whom cheered me up.
=)

alright.
on 大年初一.. my family will always be vegetarian for one whole day.
therefore, the dishes for that day, everything will be vegetarian.

this is the most popular dish as always.

everybody loves this dish which is made from fermented beancurd or something.

this year,

POPO made some changes to the way she cook the 斋菜 this year to make it a bit special.

=)

.

.

i stayed up the whole night the previous night as a way to 守岁 for my parents.

i watched the show - 下一站幸福 to keep myself awake.

i stayed up until 6am before i went to bed.

.

.

i was so tired.

.

.

by the time we reached Popo's house,

it was already noon time.

we had the vegetarian meal and then we all sat around the house to welcome relatives.

.

.

Lisa and her friend was around too.

the both of them came back together with TingTing and was at our house until the 2nd Day of CNY as they went to Sarawak to visit their friend.

.

.

we stayed for Dinner too.

after Dinner, we watched a movie together before we went back home.

we watched HACHIKO.

cried till jialat!!!

haha.

.

.

the show is sooo nice!

made us love our Kiko more... especially when Kiko looks so alike to 柴犬 which is the breed of the dog in "HACHIKO".

.

by the time we got home, it was already around 10pm.

we were going to go Debali to meet some friends from Kulai to celebrate CNY that night.

so we showered and made our way down town.

took Daddy's car down town... the 4 of us making our way down to Town.

Lisa's friend didnt come along.

.

.

boyfriend went back to his hometown already and was not going to be coming to the party which we were going to have at JB.

however,

he was also drinking happily with his relatives back at his hometown too.
.

.

.

many of us actually turned up for the party that night.

most of them were of course from Kulai.

Daniel & Andrew were still too.

.

.

which was why we decided to have the party because Andrew will be going back to Australia soon.

we wanted to have a party with them again before they head back to Australia.

The 3 of us form a very formidable group when it comes to the drinking game that my sis introduced to us.

Sis and AhTeng was in a team together.

Edwin & DeXiong is in a team together.

my sister and AhTeng...

this was the game that my sister introduced to us.

we had to line 6 cups together.

we need only one dice.

.

.

every team will have to roll the wonderful and formidable dice.

.

.

looking at the dice, if the cup of that number is not filled, u will pass the dice to the next team.

.

.

if the cup is filled, then that team will have to finish up the beer in that cup.

then that team will have to keep rolling the dice until they roll a number that the cup is not filled before they can pass the "LUCKY" dice to the next team to drink.

.

.

.

my team was formidable because,

either we roll a number that the cup was not filled, or we only had to drink one cup and we got to roll a number which the cup was empty.

.

.

oh ya. if the cup is empty, the group gets the chance to top up the cup.

they just kept drinking and drinking!!!

HAHA.

.

.

at some point of time,

they even rolled a filled cup every single time they roll the dice until they cleared all the cups.

she bought all of us something from Korea when she went back for her holidays last year.

EDWIN is back from New Zealand!!!

he is coming back for good.

he will be looking for a job in Singapore.

Edwin wasnt lucky that night.

he had to drink SO MUCH that you cannot imagine.

his luck is like:

even though there is only one cup that is filled with beer, he will roll the dice and...... it will be that cup that was filled with beer.

he is also one that can roll and clear all the filled cups.

nevertheless, he is very spontaneous!!

he drinks if he loses.

he wouldnt push the drink away.

he will take it and drink it all up! =)
which is why,

his face turned red so quickly!!!

his luck wasnt so good that night.

=)

AhTeng is also back!!!! so happy to see him tooo!

he is now working at KL and therefore, more difficult to see him around.

this guys are just like kids when they start drinking.

but.... it can be really FUN watching them and laughing our hearts out.

=)

we ordered a lot of beer that night.

we just kept drinking non-stop.

then we heard the DJs on the stage asking for 4 ladies to go up.

Lisa and YC were sent up by us!

we pushed them on stage.

they performed well!!!!

they performed a solo dance all by themselves.

although they didnt win the hongbao... they have already won in our hearts for being on stage and representing us!!

we had tremendous fun that night.

a FUN FUN night.

my first time clubbing on first day of CNY.

it was good and memorable.
