last Sunday... yes yes... a bright bright sunny day in the morning for a good DAY OUT!!

an impromptu OUTING.
as usual.
we always plan it last minute or decide last minute.
=)

in the morning,
boyfriend and i made our way to my house.
then we helped with a bit of preparing the PICNIC stuffs that mum has prepared.
then all of us bath.
then woke the younger peeps up.
then,
it was time to make our way to Desaru for our mini-picnic.
yes, we are going all the way till Desaru for a beach picnic.
=)

that is MIKI... busybody-ing when boyfriend is setting up the GPS in the car.

Sis prepared her honey water.

she was not feeling that well ever since her return from the dive trip in sabah.

she said they had too much PURE oxygen during their diving trip.

everybody else fell sick too.

MIKI is one dog that loves to travel in the car.

whenever we go out for our breakfast or whatsoever,

she will always try to get on the car.

Mummy will have to carry her down from the car whenever we had to leave.

Sis gave boyfriend 2 cubes of cheese to eat before we set off towards Desaru.

stupid expression.

myself tooo, cannot understand why he had to bring such a big pillow.

it was kind of good too because boyfriend was sharing the pillow with baby brother.

of course not as clean and nice compared to Sentosa in Singapore.

Mummy cooked the curry chicken till it BOILs,

then she will put it inside this WARMER or POT or.... whatever.

so when we reach the place of destination where we want to have our food,

the food is fully cooked and is still kept very WARM.

the 2 guys went off to the sea side without eating.

so lucky that baby bro still have boyfriend to accompany here and then.

baby bro is not too keen to hang out with his friends.

he once said that he find his friends abit too childish.

perhaps he likes hanging around with friends of his sisters more.

Mum cooked chicken drumstick for each of us..

TingTing had 2 drumsticks.

the guys still playing with whatever they can find from the beach.

they found the kite and the flag from the beach.

the kite is actually broken but boyfriend found a tree branch from the beach and fixed it on the kite and the KITE FLEW AGAIN!!!

the kite with the tree branch... boyfriend was very happy that he can fly the kite again with a bit of "creativity" with whatever resources he can find from the beach.

finally, they stopped their games/fun by the beach and had their lunch.

after the lunch,

the boys went back to their KITE FLYING and DRAWING on the beach.

TingTing started drawing something on the beach...

boyfriend helped with the drawing toooo....

brother running towards me to get the camera so that he could show me what they were drawing..

we stayed at Desaru for some time,

until the boys decide to make a move.

we got inside the car,

went to Pulai Springs to use their toilet.

then we made our way towards MUAR!!!

we took the highway from Ulu Tiram to link to our north south highway.

made the exit at Batu Pahat which was sooo WRONG.

so many traffic lights!!!

nevertheless, we still made our way to our destination - MUAR.

anyone know this building that is new in Muar???

so nice and BIG.

must be some government building that must have cost billions.

as we havent been to MUAR before,

i have only heard from YY about some of the things/food that she ate when she's at Muar.

according to YY's resources,

we searched the GPS and selected some of the places that we are interested to go to.

first place,

we went to this Ice Kacang that GPS had.

there was a stall selling delicious-smelling char kuay teow and so we ordered too.

tingTing at the shop where we had our ice kacang & char kuay teow.

MeiMei... while we were waiting for our ice kacang and char kuay teow.

the ice is very smooth and nice.

MeiMei ordered ABC and 八宝...

with the GPS, we found the location of the GLUTTON street of MUAR.

and we made our way to our next place.

we selected one of the OTAK places from the GPS.

found the otak shop thru GPS.

however,

this is nt the best shop in Muar because we selected this out from the GPS which showed us so many otak places.

the best one had to be recommended.

perhaps next time when we come to Muar again, i shall ask AhYong who is from Muar.

we bought the normal fish otak, then we had the prawn otak, we had the LA-La otak.

we all thought the LaLa otak was the best.

the Fish otak that we had from this shop, wasnt as good as the one we had at JB.

those with a Prawn sticker are the ones that are Prawn.

Last but not least,

we went to the MUAR glutton street to have our EARLY DINNER.

the Muar people actually have their dinner quite early.

it was already so crowded at around 6pm.

however, it wasnt really our kind of taste.

wasnt really that great for us.

saw alot of people queuing and eating.

so we decided to give it a try.

Mum ordered porridge from another stall too.

i personally think that this is YUMMY tooo...

but the one we have in Skudai, JB was better...

we were very FULL by this time and we decided nt to go for the steamed fish which was recommended by YY and we heard from the otak shop staff that one of the restaurants in Muar is famous for that. we managed to find that restaurant on GPS and was going to go try but we were really very FULL from all the food that we had at the glutton street already.

so we decided to give that steamed fish a miss.

maybe next time.

.

.

before we left the glutton street back to JB,

we had some herbal tea at one of the stalls at glutton street.

this was the stall where the rest of them except me, had herbal tea.

the 3 of them had their own herbal tea.

mum even requested that person to add some herbal powder.

i didnt have because i was not in a good condition to drink herbal tea.

Mum had hers as well but we didnt take photos of hers.

from glutton street,

we made our way back to JB.

found the highway from the GPS and drove all the way back to JB.

made a short stop at Machap for toilet.

reached home at around 10pm.

i was soooo tired..

i showered...

then head to bed straight away...

finally,

a mini roadtrip when sis, ting, boyfriend, me and mummy were all free to go!

we had picnic at the beach,

we had dinner at Muar.

HAHA~

sounds like we made a long way for a picnic and a long way for Dinner.

nevertheless,

the most important thing is that we ENJOYED ourselves.

i am very HAPPY~
