Saturday, 25 April 2009...

i was walking around upstairs when i heard Mummy shouting for MeiMei to go downstairs and i heard her saying that she needs MeiMei to verify it IT was a RAT or a RABBIT.

MeiMei went down and began exclaiming and wondering what IT was.

out of curiosity, i went downstairs to see what is happening and what are they talking about as they sounded very excited.

and i saw.....

this!!!! a baby rabbit!!!! (this was confirmed by the doctor later)
i was amazed when i saw it!

it was rolling on the floor.
however, regretfully, we didnt know who it's parents was.

...

before it was confirmed by the vet later, i kept saying that it was a RAT.
how stupid am i?
a RAT wouldnt be this BIG when it was born.
as the vet have said, if it was a RAT, i would have been a GIANT RAT.
"It is definitely a rabbit." the Vet had said. =)

...

to verify that whether it is a RAT or Rabbit, we went to the Vet where we always brought Kiko and the rest of the pets at home to.

saw this cute self-prepared signage that says "NO PARKING".
however, we see these 2 cars obviously parking right next to the sign.
hmmm??????

NO PARKING!!!!

the kids & parents inside the Vet waiting were all crowding around to see the Baby Rabbit that was newly-born at our home.

the girl that was really watching baby-rabbit so closely.

we suspected that these 2 rabbits would have been the parents of the baby-rabbit as they were the only possible ones.
Mika is definitely not the one because it has been alone all the time.
ErJie was also very sure that Mika is a male and so it could not have given birth to any baby-rabbits.
therefore, after some guessing and "investigation", we suspect that Miko and Michang should be the ones responsible for the baby-rabbit.
...
the baby-rabbit was next to Mika's cage when we found it. it was outside the cage. it seems that it is not possible that Mika gave birth to it and so we suspect it could be Miko & MiChang because we kept them together. BUT..... the baby-rabbit is SOOO FAR away from Miko & Michang's cage. I have no idea how it managed to come out and was rolling on the floor when it was noticed by Mummy.
we can never figure that out.

Kids looking at Baby-Rabbit and Mum stoning as the kids were all pestering to see the Baby-Rabbit. =)

My beloved sister and brother at the Vets.
...
the Vet was Super-Friendly. It was my very-first time to meet him while the rest had already met him before. He was very nice! really nice! MeiMei and I noticed that his "pattern" was actually quite similar to our father.
...
he checked Miko & Michang and noticed that.. both are PONDANs!!!!!
....
why??? because.....
...
the vet confirmed that Miko is a female and Michang is a male.
however, the vet expressed that there are no evidence that they could have successfully "created" baby-rabbit because..
Michang has NO BALLS?? He said Michang had no testicles and therefore, there wouldnt be sperms produced.
the vet checked on Miko and noticed that Miko had no signs of giving birth as she had no swollen "Tits" and completely no other signs of giving birth.
So.. the question is...
WHO FATHERED OR MOTHERED BABY-RABBIT???
=P
...
no matter what, we bought milk powder and a syringe from the Vet and brought Baby-Rabbit home.
...
it was also time for us to prepare for the steamboat Dinner at nite.

Mummy and her kitchen, together with the mushrooms that we bought in Spore.

MUSHROOMMSS!!!! woooo.....
...
i helped to prepare the mushrooms for the steamboat Dinner while mum arranged the rest. =)

Sis took a day off so that we could all be together when TingTing is back.
a proper steamboat Dinner. =)

my camera started to "blink" a red sign on the right hand corner of the screen.
which means, it is low on battery.
in order to let the battery die completely before i charge, let's take photos!!!

It is SOOOOOOOO SMALLLL right?
it is really-really very young!
it is a new-born!
this is our first time taking care of something so... something sooo NEW-BORN.
we were really very worried, because we are not use to taking care of something so young.
the baby-rabbit is not even able to open it's eyes yet.
that is how YOUNG it is.
we have no experience at all.
however, we did our best!
...
at 9.30pm,
boyfriend is already at my house.
AhMei is at my house since 7.30pm.
AhLiew has also arrived at my house.
we started our Steamboat Dinner.

our steamboat ingredients. =)
...
it was very YUMMY!!!
although no seafood, it was a very yummy and healthy as we had more veges than meat.
however, it is not very healthy when we think about the time we start eating the steamboat.
=P
...
we chatted and ate at the same time.
chatted about all kinds of things.
...
after Dinner, it was time for dessert - Mother's Day surprise.
=)
...
Mummy thought it was just a normal Steamboat Dinner with friends.
however, it was planned to surprise her.
TingTing wouldnt be back on Mothers Day this week,
so we had an early Mother's Day celebration.
the cake proudly sponsored by AhMei and AhLiew.

and the hand-made cake made by my sis.
=)
...
she came back from outside on Friday night and stayed up to finish the ice cream cake that was home made.
great work sis!
i sponsored the whole steamboat Dinner.
TingTing was present for the MOther's Day celebration.
Mum's happy!

...
while having the dessert... we had a LONG CHAT as we ate and even after we ate the cake.
MeiMei's home-made cake couldnt be eaten yet because it is still not frozen yet. our refrigerator at the back isnt functioning very well recently.
AhLiew, AhMei, boyfriend, Mummy and I, we sat at the dining table and chatted for at least an hour plus.
when we noticed, it was already 1.30am.
we wrap things up and...

i feel that it is sooo small.. sooo fragile... that i am sooo scared.
boyfriend is totally amazed at baby-rabbit.
...
he told me,
he didnt wan to have pets at the moment because he cannot give them a house yet.
he wanted to have his own house first before he have his own pets.
=)
RESPECT!
...
it was quite a simple Mother's Day Celebration.
i hope mummy can feel our love.
especially when MeiMei did such a wonderful cake for her. =)
TingTing is back and could be around for our Small Mother's Day Celebration too.
Hope Mummy could feeel happy and loved with our smallest-tiniest efforts.
