My Short Weekend

had a wonderful weekend...

Saturday, went for brunch with boyfriend.
Its always brunch with boyfriend because he always like to sleep in late on weekends.
cuddle.. cuddle..

I wasnt told where we were going for brunch.
When he pointed to me when we reached, it was actually on my TO-GO list!
CHYE SENG HUAT HARDWARE Coffee bar.

Seen on my friend's instagram before.

WAS HAPPY!!!

but thing is, after parking the car, we did not head to CSHH.
Our first brunch meal was actually at the ZHU ZHA TANG nearby which we happen to passby on our way to CSHH.
By coincidence, it was actually the "delicious-yummy-zhu zha tang" which boyfriend used to come with his brothers from airforce.

However, with his great memory, he wasnt able to remember the way to this place.
So it was TUO-MY-FU that he was able to re-visit this place and in future, we can come for Zhu Zha Tang again when we visit CSHH.

this was the ZHU ZHA TANG and it was very very very yummy!!
We only ordered a bowl because initially, our intention was to have brunch at CSHH.
So we do want to have enough space in our stomach for CSHH.

Amazing place with great interior design with concept
The place was spectacular for US - at CSHH.
We loved the place and the "aroma" from the coffee filled the entire place.

Loved the way the iced coffee was served.
It's called COLD-BREW there.

Banana cake was good but... of course the JB one is nicer.
This Banana Cake is much more compressed.
I personally like the banana cake from JB because of the much more spongey texture.

My hot brew which i mis-ordered

Our drinks and food at CSHH on our first visit
As i kepo-ed around and watching what others were ordering, realised that the other pastries that they are selling seems yummy tooo!

Reckon that the Boss of the place must have made a lot of effort to made sure that everything sold at his  cafe has got a standard and quality.

The Omelette we had was very yummy! Very "juicy" inside!

Not exactly a BRUNCH portion as it is called the "Fillers"

My second coffee
Yes this is my second coffee.. which this was what i wanted to order in the beginning but was unfamiliar with the menu and refused to seem NOOB to ask during the first time i ordered.

This is called Expresso with Milk in regular size - YUM YUM tooo!
Their coffee is just different!

Generally, we had a great time spent there chit chatting and enjoying my favourite coffee with my favourite boy!

Price is very reasonable for cafe like CSHH.

SATISFIED!

Today...

Brunch no. 1
Woke up to something smelling good at boyfriend's house!!
His mum must be cooking something yummy!
I waited for his mum to ask me though, which i knew she definitely would because as far as i can remember, i am a big supporter of her food.
I never said NO to anything she offered to let me try of her cooking.
HAHA!

As usual, this glutinous rice thingy is YUMMY!!

Brunch no. 2
My favourite from the East Side!
As far as i remember, whenever i stayed over at boyfriend's place, i always visit this place for Fish Soup.
Sometimes if i dont stay over, i would ask for him to bring me for dinner when we do meet.
He will very kindly do that.
Thanks boyfriend!

We got no where to go after, and we decided to go drop by at Expo to see Jiahui who was working at a fair for her company. - Pigeon

We realised, there were lots happening and we went in to different halls to explore their "content".

AND......

We spent the longest time at the hall full of pets!
We even stopped and watched the doggy-obediency-test for at least 1.5 hours.

Which i have decided, i MUST send my future doggy, and myself to be trained to train and be trained (for doggy).

This is Me.. (looking pale in this pic) IMPRESSED with the Obedienc-y of the doggys!
I am super IMPRESSED okay!
I am surprised at what the Owners did and what the doggys can do!
Must train your pet! =)

Then we went to Katong for Dinner (after a failed attempt at the Cheng Teng place because Cheng Teng not opened)
Katong for... Katong Laksa.

Then went to the mall for a walk before i head home..

This is what i GOT from the mall-walk!!
I am in LOVE with sweet alcoholic drinks lately!!
Bought Moscato for Yayu.
Walked into a wine shop this evening and i bought a sweet wine (i didnt try! dunno nice anot)
Walked along and saw a Korean fair and saw a queue, so asked boyfriend to visit the booth together and see what it was all about. (KIASU!)
Bought 3 bottles of rice wine for $14 only! To me it sounds cheap but i am not sure how much these will usually costs in Singapore. LOL!!

Great, great weekend! =)
