23rd January 2010.... Saturday....

nothing much happening recently.
just a bit here and there.
.
.
nothing much happening and i really try to blog more..
with lesser things happening.. i dun have so much to blog also.. s
so that i can catch up a bit with time.
i am really really behind with my blog entries.
haha.

last saturday,
i am like a huge importer of noodles.

brought all these noodles to OFFICE!!!
so many people ordering noodles from me.
ordering from me because,
this "BAN MIAN" is only sold in Malaysia, and only SOLD in Jusco so far that i know.

i have never bought so many packet of noodles at a time.
HAHA.

.
initially, i brought the noodles to eat for lunch at the office.
people start to notice the instant "BAN MIAN" that i am eating.
i told them it is not bad.
they tried and they love it!!!
so they ask me to help them buy.
HAHA.
.
.
i drive on saturday.
so i will bring the noodles when it is the saturday that i am working.
=)
.
.
if i become a PR, then i cant bring because cant drive Malaysian car.
then i cant bring from Malaysia.
unless i buy a Singapore car.
which is not possible.
HAHA.

.
after work,
i went to Angel's office, which is at Tuas to pick her.
then we went to pick BBYY from her house.
then we went to Westmall where we were suppose to meet Von & yiling.
we were early and so we went to get something to eat.

US at the MOS burger at Westmall.

Von and Yiling were a bit late but still ok.

we went to the Choa Chu Kang Columbarian.

there to pay our respect to Alvin whom passed on 2 years ago.

it was his second anniversary.

after that, we went to a temple.

i sent BBYY home from there,

dropped angel at Pioneer MRT,

and dropped Von & Yiling at Marsiling MRT as i was heading back to JB.

it was a very special saturday.

boyfriend was unexpectedly allowed to close shop very early in the evening!

usually they are allowed only to close shop earlier on Sunday evenings.

it was different because our Sultan (King) passed away on Friday evening and Saturday is the day the King was buried.

therefore, all business were asked to close as it will be a day of mourning for the late King.

Malaysians in JB were asked to tie a black cloth on the left arm as a sign of respect for the late King.

entertainment businesses are the the first to be affected as they ceased business from Friday evening onwards until Saturday.

all resumed business on Sunday.

boyfriend brought me out for an expensive dinner that evening!!

it was his treat!!!

as City Square, Pelangi Plaza, Leisure Mall and a few other malls were closed.

Jusco was one of the few malls that is still operating on Saturday.

i wanted to go there since.. so long ago!!!

he finally brought me there!!

it was a good treat from him!

appetizer.... Guava slices with preserved orange peels..

nice!

US reading the menu... deciding on what we want to have for the evening.

the wonderful evening.

should be able to notice the black cloth on our left arm.

or... we can also wear black colour clothes instead of tying that black cloth on your arm.

it is up to you yourself if you want to do so.

Mummy say we should.

as a respect to the King.

so we did.

design of the restaurant was not bad. =)

it actually started as a shop selling hampers and a herbal shop selling dried seafoods such as dried oyster, dried scallops, etc.

then 1 or 2 years ago.. if i am not wrong..

they started to have the idea of having a cafe/restaurant inside the shop so that customers can come in and have the herbal soups and for customers to have their meal.

it was very upmarket but it was also very famous because the food was great!!!

so, eventually,

they called their cafe/restaurant --- 汤师父

they have more branches now.

it was however, my first time to step into the new 汤师父 concept restaurant.

not bad at all.

only bad thing is....i feel that the waiter and waitresses talk too loudly to each other.
