Day #1 : The C-Section

24th October 2009... Saturday....

went to Kulai in the night...

boyfriend's youngest sister was going to get married the next day...

so as part of their usual practice...

one night before..

they would usually have a buffet reception at home...

they would invite friends and relatives over...

i had breakfast with Mummy and MeiMei during the daytime...

Mummy, MeiMei and I even went to meet boyfriend for lunch at Masai after that...

Sista had to go to work at 3pm...

so i sent her to work..

i went to meet BByy after dropping m sister...

BBYY was at Unique hair salon where she is rebonding + treatment her hair...

.

finished at around 8pm which i also did my hair treatment...

i forgot to take pictures..

was too busy chatting and gossiping with ppl there..

wahahaha!

then as i was leaving town and was going to go to Kulai to boyfriend's house..

MeiMei called and asked me to pack Macdonald for her...

so i had to park my car inside the Plaza Pelangi carpark and went to pack McD for her and bring it to her shop...

.

only after that, i made my way to Kulai.

There was a HUGE jam at town area.

took me more time to reach Kulai than usual.

.

boyfriend told me that his place was extremely crowded during 7pm..

that was when all the neighbours...

friends and relatives all came at the same time...

he said, there was no space to move around at all...

however, by the time i reached...

it was not so crowded anymore...

.

entertained a bit here and there...

i've met some of boyfriend's relative before...

so..

everything was good...

except for the fact that everybody is asking when WE are getting married...

aiyor!!~~~

everybody is asking!!!

HAHA...

Kulai Gang came over after the boys return from work...

when they reached...

most of the guests have already gone back..

so we had a nice table all to ourselves...

wahahahaha!

not alot i know...

however, for me to drink that much of beer is a big achievement!

=P

the beer was very cold...

so it was very easy to drink...

of course...

whenever it comes to beer..

i have to say...

my DADDY is the best at drinking beer!

=P

we chatted and chatted...

so FUN!

until it was time they should get home already because ahliew and Eric was going to go work the next day.

Ahwen had to go do make up early in the morning too.

after they left...

i bathe d and went to bed...

boyfriend's house was packed with relatives...

all the rooms had at least 4 people sleeping in it...

boyfriend's eldest sis and the daughter slept with us..

25th October 2009.... Sunday....

Finally...

i wasnt going to be the Sisters...

i cannot even recall how many times i have become someone else's JieMei...

AhYong had 8 JieMeis...

.

.

she woke up early in the morning and did her make up..

then the sisters came at arount 7 am to prepare the food stuffs for the gate crashing...

the groom is suppose to reach at 8am but was late for 25 mins...

indeed...

while they were halfway thru the games..

the ELDERLY people start to tell the Sisters to hurry up with the games because time is up...

Elderly always loves to say :"时间到了，要接新娘了"..

Sisters had no choice but to let the hubby in because it was time to get the bride...

WAH!

really very angry!!!
lucky i am not the Sisters this time..

i would have BURN myself up with my Anger...

=P

the Brothers were not gentlemen at all..

they climbed over the gate...!!

can you beat that???

they climbed over the first gate...

all the Sisters were stunned...

Haha.. it was pretty funny!

then the groom gave Rupiah as hongbao to the sisters...

Sisters had no choice but to let them in again into the house when the elders requested the Sisters to open the door because it was really time for the groom to get the bride...

so...

the brothers and bridegroom had an easy morning...

the groom stays just a few streets away...

we sat less than 5 mins in the car and reached the groom's place..

we didnt even have to use the main road..

they stayed so near each other!

wahahah!

the 炮竹!!!

the groom's place had the 炮竹 at the main gate...

i loves...

the 炮竹 is very loud...

it is very welcoming to me...

it can be noisy to others...

but to me...

it is a very JOYOUS occasion...!

so... its LOUD!

we must have the 炮竹!

=)

boyfriend's parents didnt come over...

so this is his siblings with me and his brother-in-law...

boyfriend's little cousins...

Us... while waiting by the side because the bride and groom were going to 敬茶 to the elders of the groom's family...

when everything was over at the groom's side...

all went back to the Bride' place again...

the parents had to go the groom's place again...

then,

we took the next few hours to rest a bit...

the banquet will be at 2pm in the afternoon...

US... at the banquet at a restaurant that was 5 mins away from boyfriend's house...

the bride and groom walked so fast for their march in!

took a picture together with the pretty bride before we left...

from this wedding..

it seems that...

wedding is not as complicated or as complex as i've seen it...

BBYY's wedding was in September and followed by AhYong's wedding...

it was a direct opposite comparison...

BBYY used a WHOLE one year to plan her wedding...

Ahyong only used 2 months to plan...

the level of expectation is different..

.

.

the meaning of the wedding seems a bit different too... .

.

.

to BBYY.. it is something very important and something grand... something that needs a lot of planning... somthing that needs a lot of attention...it is something very important and she wants to make it memorable for her and her hubby....

.

to AhYong... it might just be a small ceremony... just a ceremony to show others that they are married... doesnt need to use too much money.. doesnt need to be that 夸张.. just a simple wedding will do....

hmm...

i guess...

it is up to every individual what they want...

people will ask...

how about me?? what do i want??

i want it to be both simple and grand...
