Day #1 : The C-Section

Happy Birthday to the 5 God at 柔佛古庙!

finished work at 6pm then quickly packed things and rush back knowing that yesterday sure many ppl due to the huge temple procession in JB..

sis will be meeting me but she needs to go home and get her handphone first.

the 133 very slow.. and then went to Bugis.. luckily the bus was there already. i was one of the few that last boarded the bus and then off we go!

who knows. SERIOUS JAM at spore custom! even way before the bridge! i was sleeping and then received a call from sis that she said she will be walking to the spore custom instead of waiting on the bus. so after some time, i decided to walk too. luckily after i passed the immigration and then went down, there was a bus waiting for those taking the spore-johor express bus. so i was on the phone with sis asking her where she is and where she would meet and then my turn to board the bus then the uncle checking ticket, i panicked so i quickly rummaged thru my bag and the uncle pushed me aside so hard.. he must be thinking that i didnt have any tickets. but I HAVE! still on the phone with sis, i found my ticket and shoved it to his face and let him see then he let me board the bus.. but.. i was the LAST.i was standing at the door and the door spoilt spoilt.. took a whole 5minutes to close and i was so scared i will fall off because it actually started to move already. MY GOD~ scared the hell out of me..

waited for sis at the JB custom. she more bad luck than me. reached quite late even though she reached the spore custom earlier than me. we only got to meet mum around 8.30pm. so late. usually i could reach at 7.30pm.

so we decided to go for dinner together at the kuay teow kia.. yay~

then we had a little cake-eating session at Lavender because mum said she didnt want a whole cake.. a piece will do because afraid that we cant finish in time before its expiry.

Mum chose her blueberry cheesecake..

Mine was the baked cheesecake & sis with her.. erm.. dunno wad cake.. =P

sure can huat lar! because mum's birthday falls on the God's procession date.. means its a very important day on the calender that the Gods decide to have the procession. GOOD~!

yea.. a beautiful candle with beautiful mummy and her smallest birthday cake ever.. =)

and mum to make a wish that will confirm come true!

may all your wishes and dreams come true. you will always be our best mum on earth.. haha. of course..we only have 1 mum right? hah.. okok.. anyway.. seeing you slim down and become someone with confidence. Working now and making money for yourself. it's such an achievement and requires many determination and i am so proud of you!

we stayed in the cafe till 10.30pm which the cafe is suppose to close at 10pm lor! so paiseh but sis did give them very BIG TIPS ok! =)

our car and us in the middle of many people who din know that was our car. some even lie on it. but its ok for us. so we didnt ask them not to lie.

at first we wanted to go home after the cake but we wanted to go get a touch on the lions or dragons so that we can HUAT~!

waited and waited and finally they came. this was the 2nd troupe of lion dance members and i love this lion colour!


this was one of the last stops for the very, very, very long procession and so most of them are already very tired after the many, many, many times of performing.

the first god and the only god that we saw before we returned home.

there are another 4 gods behind. but i need to work today. so decided to go home because the whole thing is very, very, very long.

the biggest event in the year in JB where police will block the road for the whole procession to pass. of course causing very serious jam in JB town as well but this is only once in a year thingy and also quite proud that something as big as this is able to be carried out by all the Chinese in JB. its such a BIG event.. judging at all the cars parked along almost every road at JB.. just anywhere they can park to see the procession and not including those that are holding the joss sticks and following the procession all the way and of course all those helpers to perform! they are not paid at all! really big big big determination there!!
