07 December 2007, Welcome Dinner for Kojima-san from Ops Dept cum Dept Dinner
i guess nobody would have believed this.. yea.. yea & yea.. we had a room all to ourself at Silkroad!! i heard that there is only one private room there and we had it!!! very nicely decorated and its so nice.. i love the lighting tooo! with the correct adjustment of the camera.. and you can have lotsa fun taking nice pictures under this lighting..

the rest of the 3 ladies took LaoDa's car and guess they were stucked in the Jam.. whereby O-san got his on-call cab that arrives at the taxi stand 5mins earlier than us and without us knowing... heee... so we arrived at the restaurant first.. i shared cabby with O-san...
yea.. me at my seat with my nicely folded napkin... heee.. nice nice nice...

heeee... i say the lighting is nice right... and my Pana works well with the correct setting and everything falls into place and here... this pretty picture is taken.. and more to come...

the starters for the night... hee.. the beancurd (or beancurd-looking) food is quite nice.. not very sure what is that... the vege is salty...
first dish... porky porky.. fatty fatty porky... heee... but not bad arh.. very natural taste and the sauce giving it a bit of taste.. i love the fats...thats why i am putting on weight.. :(
erm... not fried.. but.. pan-fried... special way of serving because there's this thin thin layer of fried powder i think.. hehe.. crispy de!! nice lor.. :)
2 types of alcohol for that night.. we have the nu er hong and also the more common choice -beer. nu er hong with the plums.. i like it!!
on the left - its actually dumpling.. and on the right - its xiao long bao... i love the skin!! the skin is very important for me.. not too much of the meat inside.. but the skin.. hmmm... not bad lor..
a bit of meat only.. but good for me because i like the skin more ma... heee.. misses the skin lor.. haha.. i took this picture with my left-hand... and holding the xiao long bao with my right hand...
of course not to forget the famous Peking Duck as our main lady prefers to have.. and i love to eat this as well.. especially after it is wrapped in that very thin layer of skin... loves to eat skins... haha.. strange way to say arh... =P
see! its nicely wrapped with a thin layer of unknown skin.. and there is cucumber and peking duck sauce..and of course the peking duck skin and meat which goes very well with the skin... YUMMY~!
the cod fish of the evening...white cod fish... deep fried... not much memory of this fish.. but i remember its soft and fresh... that's all.. because i dont quite like fish to be fried.. but steamed will be better.. because only then we can really taste the fish... heee... sorry... family-cultured to love steamed fish... =P 
ooooh.. the spicy diced chicken fried with dry chili... quite spicy to the taste buds but its nice.. very tasty.. i think its quite nice to go with the nu er hong...
second fish... nothing much as well.. because its fried... and of course in the very common way.. the sweet and sour method...
this is heaven!!! the WASABI FRIED PRAWN... because of this dish.. i happen to know that Kojima-san loves prawns like me!!! same same!! haha.. the prawns we had that night was very fresh and i like tiny weenie bit of Wasabi taste... *muacks* 
only vege for the night.. ordered by me!!! of course after asking everybody lar... heee... the baby kailan in oyster sauce... normal lar.. so normal taste too... vege... cant be very different from the ones we normally eat lar... 
the ever-more than average-spiciness from this Ma Po Beancurd... really Ma La!!! but nice also leh.. but too spicy.. but nice.. haha.. contradicting arh.. its nice because its spicy lar!!! heee... and the very nice and looking-plain fried rice.. but nice... :) 
this nice nice nice nice nice nice nice.. dan dan mian!!!! spicy but nice...!! i like the noodles very much.. very nice lor.. just nice.. haha.. not those QQ type but i like it!!
thats me.. with a shawl that was provided by the restaurant because i was rather cold... it was a cold day lar.. and then somemore the air-con in the hotel is really functioning well.. 
my dessert... Mango Sago.. not at all hard to guess right.... haha.. loves the Sago.. but the dessert not very nice here leh.. but give me many Sago.. SMART!

after setting the settings nicely.. this is one with flash with my PANA.. .not bad wor.. heee.. welcome her to our family.. hope she enjoys her stay with us.. and i think she us.. she told me before that she is very comfortable to be here and she enjoyed herself. (erm... so far arh... heee...)

so after the rest of the department left.. i went to the toilet and began to dress up a bit and put on heavier make-up because i'm meeting the niao bang ppl and the ZPGYs at Lunar for a fun night!!! meet up and also to celebrate jY finishes her exam.. and her motive to be there at Lunar.. and the rest of us.. just HANG OUT TOGETHER!!so after touching up.. i took a cab to clarke quay and met the people there... excited!!!!
