BKK trip Day #1, Part II - from hotel to shopping and shopping and eating and massage.

after dropping all our stuffs at the hotel from 7-eleven,
we went for a quick lunch before we hit the "brands" shopping mall for our Day #1 itinerary which we will not include in our future itinerary if we are visiting BKK in future.

saw these stalls and decide to stop at 1 stall for our lunch.

we had a few of the thai food and the stall owners were really nice.

the uncle that was talking to us can speak Chinese!!!

from morning till night, you will see roadside stalls everywhere in BKK.

Let's start the LONG walk to the shopping malls.

we took a long walk because we werent really sure and i think we took the wrong route and walked really long...

luckily, we had the food from the roadside stalls to keep our mouth busy from complaining.

no lar.

the group was not bad.

we didnt really complain that much.

i guess everybody was very civilised.

having the company of these friends was the greatest things.

he so funny, he dun dare to eat anything from the stalls.

Finally, we decided to take the train.

a good reason to bring us to take the train and getting to the destination faster and easier.

so we went to Siam paragon, Central World, etc.

we were so bored that we got a bit tired arh.

decided to take a break at Macdonalds for a drink as well as the Chee family can eat the pork burger.

i dont really fancy fast food like Mac. therefore, doesnt really interest me that much.

taste was so-so.

still not successful but at least i was still in the air.

managed to reach the place successfully.

shopping... shopping... its only WINDOW shopping at these malls.

only KC managed to buy things.

the rest of us were just doing simple window shopping, if not, we would be eating ice cream or drinking something.

ICE CREAM time.... =P

we all had ice cream except for Siang.

we forced KC to give us one big smile.

not bad right?

ok. i think he looks a bit cheeky with that expression.

as usual, he didnt smile from his smile.

thats why.

he should have smiled from his heart then he wouldnt look so cheeky.

we shopped till it was Dinner time.

intended to go to Chinatown initially but it was raining.

the stalls might not be open when it rains at BKK.

while we were preparing to take a cab,

as we were outside one of the malls,

i got bored and became IDIOTIC.

i was doing some weird Stuns.

amazingly, Siang joined me with those weird weird and funny stuns.

he was trying to imitate my stupid cum idiotic expression and i think he did it pretty well~!

Siang and I being idiotic together! =P

So IDIOT! SO UGLY!

it was FUN!

we boarded the cab outside the mall.

after the experience in the afternoon, we were all pretty much "supporting" the idea of taking cab wherever we went.

the cab driver was very nice!

he spoke good english and talked to us about BKK.

he was the one that told us that Chinatown wouldnt be open on rainy days and it was still raining when we were ready for our Dinner there.

he recommended another place that was good.

never did we know that this nice uncle sent us to a place.

.

A RESTUARANT where we instantly become CARROT-HEAD.

we only ordered the above 3 dishes but it costs us a HUGE BOMB!

sobs.

.

.

too much trust in those taxi uncle already.

he was really nice!

.

.

anyway, we were prepared because from the outlook of the restuarant we knew it!!
the FOOD is NICE!

however, tooo costly for a 3-dish Dinner At BKK.

.

.

lesson learnt.

After Dinner, we took a cab from outside the restaurant to PatPong night market.

usually this market caters for SPECIAL SHOWS as well as tourists.

therefore stuffs are pretty expensive at this place.

just had to bargain.

we Did manage to buy some things at Patpong.

just bargain will do.

however, a few of the stall owners got really fierce when we bargain too much.

not-so-friendly there.

i bought a good quality belt there.

however, price is a bit too steep.

as my dearest KC had calculated wrongly and closed the deal.

wahahaha...

so funny!!!!

he thought 400baht was S$4.00.

FUNNY!

this was US outside the massage parlour.

we were going to go for a full body thai massage for RM25.00.

US, in the lift going to the VIP room which is bigger and cooler upstairs.

no lar... the shop there was only for foot massage.

Full body massage, we had to take the lift to another place where they had rooms for us to get our massage.

=)

we were so tired after one FULL day of walking and looking around.

after the massage,

we went back to the hotel,

contacted ahwen and we're going to have supper with him and Ethan.

he was there for his work.

Ahwen and Ethan came down from their hotel and brought us to a famous chicken rice near our hotel.

we managed to walk there.

it wasnt as WARM in the night.

it was quite good to walk in the night.

quite nice.

a bit different from the SG and Msia style.

not bad!

it is so good to have people who knows BKK better than us to bring us around.

however, they both had to work during day-time so we had to go out on our own.

after supper and some chatting,

we headed back to our hotel.

where AhWen and Ethan went back to their hotel too.

we went back washed up and went to bed.

Summer was real fast.

she usually dont sleep that late when she was back at home.

however, for the BKK trip, she had to endure till the wee hours of the morning, which we did for all 3 nights.

wahah...
