woke up earlier than normal.
at 6.30am together with baby.
Baby had to wake up earlier because he is going back to JB.
he didnt want to report late for work,
so he anxiously made himself wake up a bit more earlier,
so that he can still make it to work on time,
even when it jams at the custom.
BAby sent me to the MRT before he made his way back to JB.
i had to take the MRT to Harbourfront.
will be meeting Boss at 8.20am to catch the 9.20am ferry to Batam.
my breakfast at Mac at Harbourfront..i reached the place much earlier..
so i decided to sit down at Mac,
for my favourite Mac breakfast - Hotcakes. YummYY!!
i took the Happy Meal.. as i didnt want something as heavy as the normal adult meal that we are entitled to.
when it was almost time, i made my way to the Ferry Terminal. i was going to take the escalator when i saw Boss seated at the Delifrance cafe and so i walked over. and so, i sat down with her there.
ordered 1 cuppaccino. and we were chatting and reading Magazines together because she bought FOUR (4) Magazines - Vogue, Elle, Female, HOT! she said, so that we wouldnt get bored on the Ferry.
then a client came along and so we chatted till around 9.05am, before we made our way to board the Ferry.
in the Ferry, Boss was busily chatting with the client while i sat quietly beside Boss and was watching the movie on the TV in the boat. Boss did ask me to read the magazines but i was more interested in the movie.
and... reached Batam!!!!

the Ferry Terminal is not bad.. but other than the Ferry Terminal, the rest is still very Kampung.

then, we took a walk at one of the processing plant of the metal plates before we walked over to where our newbuilding boat is... together with our 2 clients..
and we boarded the newbuilding boat!! this is a view of the sea from the boat.
the boat was launched only recently into the sea, and is now undergoing the interior renovation, fixing the navigation stuffs at the bridge, fixing the boat engines, etc.
i'm at the Engine Room and there were many, many, many workers down here with US..the workers were actually all fixing the engines and all.
we had Loo, PIC of batam yard,
with another worker to walk with US.
there was also a security walking with us to protect our security.
so sweets right?
HAHA.

walked on my converse, to my first Batam trip,
to our company's very own shipyard.
my visitor helmet..erm.. of course i dare not smell the inside. eeeeewww!!
i just took it up and wore it. - no hesitation. HAHA.
Boss has her very own helmet, with her name on it.
of course MD also has his and a few of the Singapore staffs that visits the place pretty often.
i guess we wouldnt be there as often,
so will only be able to wear the 'visitors' helmet.

our way back to the Ferry Terminal to take our ferry ride back to Singapore.
it was a very quick visit to the yard before we were off, back to Singapore again. Everything was so well planned that we were kept very busy the whole morning.

lucky was that the cars at the Batam office were mostly 4-wheel cars.. these cars were made for these kind of roads.. =)
it was my first time to be at the Sekupang Ferry Terminal at Indonesia.
Boss's handbag and Mine...woo... a big, huge Margin of price gap between these 2 bags.
HAHA.
the Ferry back to Singapore was more comfortable..not as packed as the Ferry when we were going to Batam.
during this trip,
both of US,
quietly flipped through the 4 magazines that Boss bought.
we kind of knew that we wouldnt be getting any chance to read it in office.
and we both managed to read all 4 in the trip back to Singapore.
not actually reading..
i think we both were just flipping through and only reading those that we were interested in.
=)

And Me...
when we were at Harbourfront, boss and I, we went to look for places where we can pack our lunch. we found Breeks Cafe. she ordered a sandwich because she wanted to have it in the car. while i ordered pasta.
boss also bought a lot og kuay-kuay back to the office for everybody!! YUm-Yum!!...
my take away from Breeks...

so-so-only, maybe because i take away. shouldnt have packed something so creamy.. when i knew that i loves tomato based pasta.. haha..HAHA..

i finally got the chance to go to the Batam shipyard..
our very own shipyard.
everything from is built there and installed there,
as well as launched there.
as well as the sea trial.
wad an experience i had on Tuesday.
so happy!
and we reached office at 2pm,
and i had my lunch at the pantry.
then almost 2.30pm already.
then work for a 2 hours & 30 mins,
and home-sweet-home.

went home after work.
left home at 7pm with my gears.
to meet HongZi at Boon Lay station.
we took a bus together,
then reached Jurong West sports hall.
played badminton there.
SHIOK!
then we went home together..
in our 臭臭 shirts... HAHA..
so nice to play sports for 1 full hour.
i think we played quite well.
even saw Yayu and her family on our way out from the sports hall.
Good~
and we were buying a bottle of 100 plus for each of us.
then there was one bottle which we REALLY-REALLY cant open.
so i brought it back to the sports hall and asked Ben BEn for help.
and he managed to open that bottle for us!

reached home,
i cleaned the house and did some laundry.
before i slept at 2am in the morning.
oh no..
cant i just sleep earlier??
